Your child is our mission

Since 1984, St. Mark Christian Day School has provided quality early childhood education and child-care for families in Palm Coast, Florida. Our school is an outreach ministry of St. Mark by the Sea Lutheran Church whose mission is to Invite, Nurture, and Serve all of God's people with the good news of Jesus Christ.

In keeping with our mission, St. Mark Christian Day School provides a Christian learning environment that is safe, clean, well-maintained, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate. The learning environment at St. Mark fosters indoor and outdoor development as well as teaching appropriate social skills.

Staff

Our stable and mature teaching teams are Child Development Associate (CDA) qualified. All staff are Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified. For your child's safety, and your peace of mind, all staff have met the background standards as required by the Florida Department of Children and Families. Our teachers receive on-going training in education, child development, and safety.

Curriculum

We use Creative Curriculum that is active, hands-on, and child initiated. Our teaching teams use observational techniques to build learning on an individual basis. Also used in the planning of learning experiences are the Florida Standards for Birth to Three and Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten.

Non-discrimination statement

St. Mark Christian Day School will not discriminate against children of any race, color, religion, or national or ethnic origin. We provide to children enrolled in our school and their parents all rights, privileges, and activities accorded to or made available to or by our day school. It is our hightest priority that all children who come to St. Mark are welcomed, respected, and loved when they are in our care.
