Ministry Opportunities
Bible Study Offerings
A variety of Bible Study programs are offered at St. Mark by the Sea.

Pastor led weekly bible study

Layperson led weekly bible study

WELCA conducts a monthly Bible Study for women. (See more information on the WELCA tab under SERVE.)

Lent and Advent seasons offer a brief Wednesday evening service weekly followed by a soup supper with a devotional discussion
Children and Church

A Children's Message during the Sunday service provides a personal. child-centered message prior to the regular sermon.

Activity bulletins that follow the service gospel and lessons.

Children offering envelopes

Acolyte participation at the Heritage Service

Youth Sunday -- children take on the responsibilities of the church service

Nursery for toddlers can be reestablished for church members if needed
Children Education Programs

Sunday School classes build a solid, biblical foundation that are age-appropriate for Kindergarten-8th grade. Sunday School meets weekly in between the two services at 10:05.

First Communion and Confirmation instruction are scheduled as needed by the pastor or deacon.
Youth Ministry
A social and service focused program to enhance the Christian development in our youth beyond Sunday School classes.

"Loose Change Sundays:" The congregations's contributions are used for donations to a ministry the youth choose and to fund the extracurricular activities.

Youth Socials and Gatherings: activities throughout the year offering opportunities for the children in the community to experience the love of Jesus and connect with St. Mark by the Sea.

Family Fun Activities: events designed for our families to fellowship together.
Preschool
The St. Mark Christian Preschool has been in operation for 40+ years.
We provide a safe, educational, and Christian environment for about 60 children by a trained staff who are dedicated to preparing every child for success.
