Mission Vince
Saint Vincent is the patron saint of the poor. The purpose of the program is to support other food assistance programs already operating in the area with labor offered to organizations by members of our congregation. The community at large has significant and ongoing nutrition needs that can be eased by combining our efforts with those of others in the area.

Our Father's Table Ministry
Provides hot meals to individuals and families in need. Volunteers are needed to help prepare the take-out meals for pick-up or delivery to those in need. There are 2 ways to volunteer:
1) St. Mark Group Saturdays: SMBTS has a group volunteer day on the first Saturday of each month. We assist with cooking and plating of meals. We have two shifts at 9:00 am-1:oo pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Those wishing to volunteer should sign up in the Welcome Center 3-ring binder (Tab 8) buy the Sunday prior to this group Saturday. Our Sunday bulletins and e-Lerts contain sign up deadline reminders. (On our Group Saturday, please wear closed toed shows, a cap and/or pull your hair back --
if applicable.)
2) Independent Volunteer Saturdays: Volunteer opportunities exist for Saturdays aside from our SMBTS group Saturday. If interested, please call Michelle Seyford at 610-507-8061 from Our Father's Table at PCUMC and she will outline the various volunteer needs.
Be sure to let her know that you are
from St. Mark.

Food Pantry at Flager Beach United Methodist Church
SMBTS will now collect various food and toiletry items for the FBUMC pantry to support those in need in our community. A "Feeding the Hungry" wagon will be in the Welcome Center where you are welcome to place your donations. A list of suggested items can be found next to the wagon for you to take with you as well as shown below. We ask that food items not be past an expiration date of 6 months
to meet the regulatory requirements
set for the pantry.
All food and toiletry items are welcome. The following list are those items that the pantry is in most need of:
Food Items: treats (such as Jello, pudding, cookies); canned or boxed potatoes; canned meats (e.g. chicken,
beef stew, SPAM); ramen noodles; ravioli products; children's cereals;
cake mixes; raisins.
Non-food items: pet food for dogs and cats (dry and canned); cat litter; women's menstrual items; adult disposable briefs/pads (e.g. Depends); toothpaste; soap; tissues; toilet paper.
Monetary donations are also welcome. Please make your check or ACH donation out to 'St. Mark by the Sea' and indicate 'Food Pantry Ministry' in the comment line or ACH notation.
